![]() Mark is interested in a multitude of things. Mark would much rather try and talk or reason with an enemy than fight it, unless it was completely necessary. Mark is also very knowledgable, as he has read a few books more than his mom and dad, and studies hard for exams when class comes around. A True Friend is a real friend, as his mother tells him. He has few friends, but those he does have, are very close and comfortable talking to him, do to him being fairly shy. He only breaks that calmness when great misfortune befalls upon him or an event tied with him. Mark is very calm at most times, and will hardly go over the top excited if something goes his way. Mark himself isn't the weirdest kid, but likes doing few things with large groups. Mark has an online chat service called Pesterchum, which his username is GillstrappedGong, or GG. Marks mom loves to read, and is a college professor in literature at the local college. Mark is guarded by his mother, or mom, as is dad is usually away in some foreign country excavating. He currently resides in a home located in Newburgh, Missouri, a small suburban neighborhood that he feels safe in. The Godhood thing is pretty heavy spoilers, but it's both pretty intense and turns you effectively immortal! Which is cool.Mark is a 13 year old boy, who was born on the 23rd of June, 2003. (So, if he were in color, Jake would be wearing this fetching shade. The Hero of Whatever titles determine your role in the game, and what powers are bestowed upon you as you level up they also determine the design (by what your title is) and color (by what you're the hero of) of your godly hoodie, if you become a god. XD But if I ever flesh out this AU, I will probably come up with something. I have yet to figure out exactly why they match up like that, they just felt right. XD The colors, in Homestuck canon, map to physical traits of the characters- for the human characters, it matches their eye colors for the trolls (the aliens we see the most of), it matches their blood color (except for this one dude, but that's a long explanation). (I don't know that Rachel actually has a sword as a weapon, but a random scimitar kind of seems like Rachel's thing. :V I am pretty proud of the Ax-man, I had to edit together Maplehoof and a Sprite base to make him. ![]() In addition, they have "dreamselves" that live on the moon of either Derse, which is the stronghold of the black chess peices, or Prospit, home of the white chess peices. (For instance, John, the main character of Homestuck, is the Heir of Breath, and his world is the Land of Wind and Shade). The players of the game are drawn into the video game world, and each is given a title and placed on personalized world. Homestuck is framed with a video game, SBURB that breaks the wall between itself and reality. C:įor those who don't know what all that is: The original concept doodles I did! (Man, I am so proud of that Cassie.) I assigned colors, titles, and lands, and whether the character was a Derse or Prospit dreamer (the yellow/purple behind the names), and some Godhood designs. :P Mild spoilers for Homestuck behind the cut, in the "this is a thing that exists as a concept/game mechanic in Homestuck" sort of sense. So, basically, it was pretty much begging to get mixed up with Animorphs, and I drew a bunch of doodles to that effect. I am not sure how relevant to people's interests this is, but (besides being a fan of Animorphs, of course) I am a HUGE fan of the webcomic Homestuck, which is about a bunch of thirteen year old kids, aliens, self-discovery, war and death and justice and heroism, time travel, and a giant complex chess game between the forces of creation and destruction that the kids are unwittingly drawn into.
